Halcyon
Foreman had never expected their relationship to evolve into a point where they even had the "good ol' days", but there they were, waxing nostalgic about their early dates and how nervous Chase had been and how inexperienced Foreman was, and as they laughed, they were able to appreciate just how far they'd come as a couple.
And Foreman doesn't want to go back to the early days, because things are just fine as they are now. He's still got Chase and they've got the good ol' days. And it's time for them to make some more of those days.
Xenophobia
"This is Australia?"
Chase sighs, picking up the luggage. "Don't stare at them like that. And don't poke them either. The airport isn't exactly a museum for you to discover." He hands Foreman his carry-on, unzipping the front and stashing their passports away. "And don't ask anyone where you can find crocs," he pleads.
Foreman just grins and gives Chase a bemused grin. "You really don't trust me, huh?"
"Not when you ask every night if he can go down under," Chase replies, a wicked note in his voice. He just watches Foreman blush and knows he's embarrassed Foreman enough.
Jejune
Chase looks old most of the time. Not rough, exactly, but Foreman can tell that he looks a whole lot older than he's supposed to be. He wears wrinkles like they're sunglasses and laugh lines sprout out of nowhere.
But when he sleeps, it all melts away and suddenly, Chase looks ten years younger, like he's still just a kid and he's napping between classes. Foreman is still taken aback every time he sees it, can hardly believe that this is his Chase, the same guy who carries the weight of the world on his back every day.
Plethora
Foreman wanted to try it, just the once to see what Chase's reaction would be. So he called up the local florist and he managed to get a bouquet of flowers sent to Chase by the dozen, more and more, just to see how Chase would react.
The result of his gift-giving was amazing.
Foreman had never seen Chase smile the way he did when those masses of flowers kept arriving. The smile grew slowly at first, then like wildfire, and he looked…just, peaceful and content. The kiss Foreman got in return was definitely worth the money and effort, too.
