i loved the beginning, the poetic tone of it and the little phrases like "if maybe he didn’t walk away from the one thing that would’ve given him a lifetime of ups and downs without needing to set foot on a roller coaster."

and gah, i knew this was going to hurt but i still read it so i have only myself to blame (but good job on that, btw!)

and the end was so sweet and perfect. i love it.
