There was absolutely no other reason for ... for that and those otherwise. Really, because Ambrose had gone to sleep on a perfectly flat and gorgeous chest, sparsely populated with those curls of blond hair that Cain had.
He had woken up with his face pressed between two very impressive breasts.
"Mffhgh," he gave a muffled sound as he managed to get out and stare down in horror. "Cain?" he hissed, shaking him awake. "Cain! Wake up!"
Cain had, to Ambrose's deep horror, gained a rather compact, yet muscled feminine form, hair barely more than a pixie cut.
Oh dear.
Whichever of the Princesses had done this was definitely in a large, large amount of trouble. After Ambrose let Cain out of bed, of course.
